On Wednesday 2nd of May 50 or so of our members made the short journey to Sunny Coatbridge to take part in THE SCOTTISH VETERAN HARRIERS annual 4.8 mile “Snowballs” race.
This event is organised by veteran runner and living legend Bill McBrinn who extends an annual invitation to the jogscotland members of North Lanarkshire to slip on their racing shoes for this hospitable and laid back event.
With a managable distance of 4.8 miles and it’s low key atmosphere, this event is perfect for members wishing a gentle introduction to taking part in races.
